The city of Pace, located in Santa Rosa County, is approximately 15 miles from downtown Pensacola.  The community of Pace is named after James G. Pace, who owned large lumber, paper, and turpentine productions that operated in the area and throughout the Southeast.  The once small, rural community has seen dramatic growth within the last decade - both in population and commercial activity.  Pace offers many wonderful neighborhoods to live in, excellent schools, golfing and much more!  It is no wonder that many residents are proud to call it home.
